Cultured marble
vanity tops are the most common vanities to be refinished.
Typically, the original gel coat surface becomes dull and
discolored or may develop crazing (small hairline cracks).
The refinishing process will leave an old dated vanity
in like-new condition and can even include an integral
sink bowl.
The expense of replacing a vanity top is typically six to seven
times the cost of refinishing and can include plumbing,
drywall repair, painting and other charges. Refinishing
is also faster than replacement. A typical vanity top
can be refinished in less than two hours and can be ready
for use within 24-36 hours.
